So I guess it’s been awhile, innit?

I’ve been busy—gardening, translating, and lying around in big tubular machines that make a terrible racket but continue to produce unremarkable results. Meaning: the cancer remains stable.

Among other things, I’ve been translating these little “tidbits”–“Gewissensbits” from German to English.

I also discovered a new, and interesting blog, hosted by Karen Kelsky, PhD, author of The Professor Is In.

The prof was looking for Indigenous viewpoints, so I submitted a query with the rundown on “Lillian’s Last Stand” in academia. The professor was into it, so I sat down to write. Having a welcoming platform and a 1,000-framework forced me to focus and come up with a decent rendering of the sordid tale….Have a look!
